This is Bacardi's rule-breaking whiskey brand.
They're all about doing what you want, when and how you want. So, when asked to create brand videos for YouTube prerolls, I ran with that as the core idea.
Simple ideas on a shoestring budget, all mocking advertising itself.

In the first advert, we get a glimpse into the real world of creatives, less mad men, more mad stupid, with our marketing team pitching the idea of bogging off work and not doing anything at all.

The second shows our lovable team taking the mickey by remixing their boss into a song, after she specifically asks them to avoid doing anything musical.

We even threw together a quick song for spotify. Don't judge... shoestring budget, yeah?
The final ad was completely unscripted. I didn't even bother with actors. Nicolas Tissera and I sat in front of a camera and adlibbed an anti-ad.

We delivered 12 cuts (including verticals) and a song. All in all, I'd say we did pretty good with 7K.
